Step By Step To Earning E-business Cash!
You have visitors to your website, these visitors are potential customers, and you have to find a way to make them into actual customers and to get them to spend their money with you.
Get Converted!
How can you increase the conversion rate? How can you increase the rate at which visitors convert into customers on your website. You can and add additional streams of income. You could, for example, add new affiliate links, or you could put AdSense advertising on your web pages and this would probably result in an increase in revenue... but it's all a bit hit and miss!
Test It Out!
How can you scientifically increase the rate at which visitors convert into subscribers on your landing page or squeeze page? The answer here is to experiment. Test everything you do. You need statistics! My testing has resulted in knowing, for example, that subscribers prefer to receive a free e-book rather than a free email delivered e-course, but the most important decision you can take is what form of words to use on your squeeze page or landing page. You need to create a number of different squeeze pages and test the rates at which the different pages convert visitors into subscribers. Luckily most auto responders systems have a way for you to identify which opt in box subscribers have come from. So by putting different opt in boxes on your different squeeze on landing pages and driving traffic to them you can discover which pages are the most effective at converting visitors into subscribers. You can use the same testing techniques to trial different sales pages and different e-mails that you send to your subscriber list.
Pushing the Right Buttons
There is always room for improvement, and the more you test and the more different combinations of words, graphics and sales copy you employ the more likely you are to discover that winning formula that pushes all the right conversion buttons and changes visitors into subscribers then subscribers into customers.
Progress To Success
Do you see how making money on the Internet is a matter of progression. If you don't have a subscriber list, you need to find out how to get one and put the action-steps required into practice. Once you have a list, you need to take the steps necessary to monetise that list. Once you have begun to monetise that list, you have to discover how to be more effective so that more of your subscribers are spending money with you. A good example would be to ask your list what it is they want from you, and then provide it. Of course, you can only do this if you already have a list and if you have started to build a relationship with your subscribers.
Take That Step!
Making money on the Internet is a matter of finding out what the next step you should take is... and then, most importantly, taking that step! |
