For some people writing an Ebook is as easy as firing up the laptop and running their fingers over the keyboard. These people are called Geniuses, and they're very lucky! For the rest of us, it takes a little more preparation and the first thing you have to prepare is your own mind. To perform any kind of creative activity takes a creative mindset. You have to get your mind right before you can do anything.

If you're new to writing you've got to overcome the fear of writing badly. But whatever you believe about yourself is the truth. If you believe you can't write, then indeed, you can't write. If you believe you can write, then you can. It's the same with creating your Ebook. You have to set your mind to believe and press the confidence button in your brain. Some people prefer the certainty of thinking of it the other way round. If you believe you can't do something then, for sure, you can't do it!
Use Your Life
You have lived your life. You've had the experiences you've had, and you have a certain expertise as a result. So you do have at least one Ebook in you, and probably more. Your starting point should be the confidence to know you CAN write an e-book and it will be a book that people will want to read. You must believe that your life experience and your expertise is valuable, and that it will be worthwhile to put down your thoughts in print.
Dont Myth Out!
There is a great myth that surrounds the writing of a book. It's supposed to be something only professional writers can do, but let me tell you, every time you share an idea with someone, every time you have a conversation, whenever you express your point of view, you are in effect writing a book. The fact that your words aren't going on to paper or into print doesn't matter. If you interact with another person you are going through the same process you will use when you are writing your Ebook. This is important. You must realise that you already possess the skills required to write.
Share Your Thoughts
If you can think and speak, then you can think and write. If you can communicate with another person and share your ideas then you can write an e-book. This hurdle of belief is the most common obstacle to people succeeding online by creating their own Ebook products. Believe your thoughts are valuable. Believe that your opinions matter. And believe that you can express those opinions in a way that other people will want to read. Have faith and you will succeed. Believe and you WILL triumph!
