Get rich.
Getting rich is one of those vague goals that everyone has from time to time.
“If only I were rich, I would...”
The barrier to getting rich is that it remains an undefined goal. The target is so blurred and out of focus that it's impossible to hit it. If your goal is to “get rich”, you must first define exactly what “rich” means. How will you know when you are rich? Just how rich is your particular rich?
Aim Carefully...
Only when you have a definite target to aim at do you stand a chance of hitting it. Even if you snaked round the question and say “well, I just want to be richer than I am now...” you have the same problem. Would one extra dollar be enough? You would be richer! But I doubt that would satisfy you!
Write it down...
Write it down. If you really want to be rich, define your goal precisely and write it down. There is a power in putting an idea in to black and white. It makes you be precise. It makes you think things out, and getting them straight on paper will help you get your thinking straight too. Make no mistake, anything is possible, and once you have a definite clear goal to focus on, you can plan the steps you need to take to get there. Then you can take those steps, one at a time, until you get there.
Break it down...
If your “get rich” goal is a big one, you might have to break it down into smaller bits. Do what you have to do to create a real workable plan and then put your planning into a timeline. And again put it down on paper. Your plan is sure to change as you progress through it, but that's okay. The key is to be always aware of what your next step should be. If you look at your plan & sigh with despair, then your steps need to be broken down into smaller achievable mini goals.
Working!!!
I'm assuming that part of your getting rich plan includes some kind of Internet Business, and quite right too! The Internet is where people can go from nothing to millions with little more than an idea and some hard work.
Ah yes! Hard work, have you stopped reading? It's an unpopular notion that getting rich requires hard work or investment or risk or sacrifice. We prefer to believe that those rich people we admire or envy got their wealth through blind luck or dirty dealing, and who knows that could be true. But at least have a plan to put yourself in a position to benefit if luck should find you. And it's strange but true that the harder you work the luckier you get!
